Cuttputlli Movie Review | Akshay Kumar | Disney Hotstar
Cuttputlli: Crime Thriller Psychopath
story based on a real event that happened in Russia. This story was already
taken in Tamil as Ratchasan in 2018. I already watched Ratchasan Tamil movie
and really curious to watch Cuttputlli after watching the trailer.

Arjan(Akshay Kumar) lives in Kasauli
with his family consisting of Seema (Hrishitaa), her husband Narinder
(Chandrachur) and her daughter Payal. Narinder is also a cop, working with
Arjan in the same police station. Rakul is Payal's school teacher and Arjan’s
love interest too. At Kasauli, School
girls got kidnapped and killed sequentially one by one. Kasauli cops can’t able
to figure out what exactly going on. The Cop team headed by SHO Parmar(Sargun)
used the traditional method of investigation to solve this peculiar case. Based
on Arjan’s previous research for his movie script he has good knowledge in the
Psycho killer area. So he found the pattern in starting itself and he tried in
many ways to convey this to Parmar. But she is not in a mindset to listen
anything from him. Even, Arjan’s uncle Narinder also not ready to hear anything
from Arjan regarding this case. How Arjan solved this case and how much we
engaged in this movie is the rest of this story.
In Ratchasan(original version), there
is one-night scene in a bike that creates a strong bond between hero and
heroine. But here it’s totally changed and it’s nice to watch too. But the lack
of strong connectivity makes us hard to believe the coordination between Akshay
and Rakul. Later at one point, Arjan got a chance to lead the cop to find the
killer. In the original version there is an urge and struggle has been
maintained till the end. It becomes a great advantage for Ratchasan and we also
get engaged till the end. In the case of Cuttputlli, Akshay's director made
some changes in the hospital scene. As a result, that scene only becomes
interesting and it pays the way for Arjan to lead the cop team. The rest all
similar to the original. Christoper's character scared us and the school
teacher Purushottam also performed well.
We can watch freely without any
tension because Cuttputlli is like Ratchasan’s lite version. Some scenes are
really interesting and different from the original version. But lack of emotion
is the only thing I want to mention. At some point, it becomes a typical
Bollywood hero worship movie. Apart from that, its ok to watch this movie at
Hotstar once.
